Korean men's archery achieved the feat of winning their third consecutive Olympic title, and high school female marksman Ban Hyo-jin won the glorious 100th gold medal at the Korean Summer Olympics in the women's 10m air rifle shooting.

Earlier, in the women's 10m air rifle final held this afternoon, Ban Hyo-jin won the gold medal by 0.1 points after a close shoot-off.

Late in the final, Hyojin Ban found herself in a situation where she only needed to shoot one shot over 9.7 to secure her gold medal.

There were sighs in the broadcast box, but Ban Hyo-jin, who took the shoot-off with a calm expression, scored 10.4 points, beating Huang Yuting (China), who scored 10.3 points, by 0.1 points and took the gold medal.
