People Power Party lawmaker Kim Sang-wook (Ulsan Namgu-gap) launched a filibuster (unlimited debate) on the 2nd to prevent the passage of the Democratic Party's special measure bill for the payment of livelihood recovery support funds.
Rep. Kim Sang-wook began the filibuster and said, “The Republic of Korea is a country ruled by law, and the main principle of a country ruled by law is the Constitution.
Rep. Kim said, "We who maintain our current lives thanks to the sacrifices and dedication of our parents and grandparents' generation should not take away and burden future generations," and added, "The Democratic Party's cash distribution budget, disguised as the people's livelihood, is high inflation." ·He emphasized, “It should be used to support small business owners and the self-employed who are struggling with high interest rates.”
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-seon (Ulsan Dong-gu), a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, launched a filibuster regarding the yellow envelope law.
