This agreement was made between the Culture Broadcasting Business Innovation Bureau (Director: Choi Hyeong-moon), Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Catholic Brain Health Center (Center Director: Lim Hyeon-guk), and home-visit care startup Kering (CEO: Kim Tae-seong), with each organization utilizing its respective expertise. “It will be possible to open a new horizon in dementia management,” he said.
Kering CEO Kim Tae-seong also promised that he would do his best to successfully implement this project, saying, “Currently, Kering is responsible for caring for about 10,000 elderly people across the country, so we will contribute to spreading good programs to the local community.”
Previously, Ding Ding University, an in-house venture of Culture Broadcasting, has been developing dementia management content that can provide memory training and cognitive intervention therapy by using archives of popular broadcasts such as old dramas since 2022, and Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Catholic Brain Health Center, Yangcheon-gu Dementia Relief Center, etc. were pilot applied and recorded a high satisfaction score of more than 4 out of 5, and starting this year, they are starting to expand and commercialize the program in earnest.
