Actor Gong Myung and Weki Meki member Kim Do-yeon denied the dating rumors and released an official statement.

She also emphasized, "The two are only close friends in the past as seniors and juniors in the same agency," and added, "They are not currently in a romantic relationship."

Kim Do-yeon's agency, Fantagio, also stated, "The dating rumors are not true."
