Gardens not only restore the city in an environmental aspect, but they also restore the city in that the citizens who visit the garden wash away their fatigue and receive mental comfort.

Now that coexistence with nature has become more important due to abnormal climate around the world, what function can parks in the city play?

It is also a common sight here to see citizens holding children's birthday parties and barbecue parties in the park as if they were enjoying themselves in a private garden.

In Seoul, a project to connect disconnected green spaces has already begun.

The National Assembly-daero Upper Park, which has begun the process of turning the road underground and promoting an upper park, is planned to be created as a world-scale linear park and be organically connected to Seoul Lake Park.
