Online phishing crimes impersonating celebrities are becoming more serious.

YouTuber and instructor Kim Mi-kyung raised awareness among her public after experiencing a phishing victim impersonating her name.

Ms. Kim Mi-kyung said, "No matter how much I promote on social media, I can't be fooled, and it's not enough." Feeling her personal limitations, she formed a group (Yusamo) to solve the crime of online phishing impersonating celebrities.

Meanwhile, according to the National Police Agency, the number of cases of illegal activity in investment leading rooms, including celebrity impersonation fraud, exceeded 1,000 from September to December last year alone, and the amount of damage exceeded 120 billion won.
