Former professional baseball player Oh Jae-won sent to prosecution on drug use charges

On the morning of the 28th, Gangnam Police Station in Seoul sent Oh Jae-won to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on charges of violating the Narcotic Drugs Control Act (psychotropic).

Oh Jae-won was arrested by the police on the 19th on charges of taking narcotics and receiving prescriptions for psychotropic drugs.

At the time, Oh Jae-won was investigated by the police for drug charges following a report from the woman he was with, but he strongly denied the charges and returned home after receiving a negative result in a simple drug reagent test.

However, while waiting for the results of a detailed examination, the police secured additional evidence of Mr. Oh's drug use, issued an arrest warrant, and began securing new recruits.
