The boyfriend of Areum from the group T-ara has hinted at legal action regarding allegations against him.

In December 2023, Areum announced her remarriage to her new lover, Mr. A, along with news of her divorce filing, alleging child abuse and domestic violence by her husband, who is also filing for divorce.

On the 27th, Areum made an extreme attempt. On this day, the YouTube channel ‘President Lee Jin-ho after Entertainment’ reported that Areum, along with her boyfriend, borrowed money from her SNS followers before the extreme attempt.

At the same time, she said, "We have obtained data that Mr. A sent a direct message (DM) to his SNS followers, asking to 'lend money'," and released a recording of an actual phone call between Mr. A and his followers.
