Unauthorized use of ‘Se-ri Pak Golf School’ emerges as a key issue

The suspicion of unauthorized use of 'Se-ri Pak Golf School' is emerging as a key issue in the case in which the Se-ri Pak Hope Foundation, led by Se-ri Pak (46), a golf player-turned-manager and broadcaster, sued Se-ri Pak's father, Jun-cheol Park.

Se-ri Pak's lawyer said, "It is true that the Se-ri Pak Foundation, not Se-ri Pak personally, sued Se-ri Pak's father through a resolution of the board of directors," but said that the specific details could not be revealed because the investigation is ongoing.

However, through a pop-up window on its homepage, the Pak Se-ri Hope Foundation recently said, "We have confirmed that an advertisement is being run using Director Pak Se-ri's name without permission," and added, "Director Pak Se-ri is a member of the International Golf School and Pak Se-ri International School (Golf Academy, Taean, Saemang, etc.) “We would like to clarify that there are no plans or plans for attracting or establishing the facility anywhere in the country (including anywhere in the country).”

There are claims that Se-ri Pak's photo and name were used without permission during this process.
