[100-minute discussion] - <In the end, I resign.. What is the future of public broadcasting?>

Chairman Kim Hong-il of the Korea Communications Commission voluntarily resigned this morning (the 2nd), just before the impeachment bill against him was reported to the plenary session of the National Assembly.

With Chairman Kim's resignation, the Korea Communications Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Korea Communications Commission) will temporarily become a one-member system with Vice Chairman Lee Sang-in, and Vice Chairman Lee will take on acting duties.

However, looking at the composition ratio so far, even after the resignation of Chairman Lee Dong-kwan and the appointment of Chairman Kim Hong-il last December, no opposition member was appointed, and the two-member structure continued with two members from the ruling party and zero from the opposition party.

Today, on MBC's "Finally Resigned.. What is the future of public broadcasting?", People Power Party lawmaker Lee Sang-hwi, member of the National Assembly Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Han Jun-ho, former JTBC reporter Park Seong-tae, and former KBS reporter Kim Ki-heung appeared to 'take over the broadcasting'. Discuss the controversy and the future of public broadcasting.
