“Re-released on August 20th”

‘Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees’, a makgeolli developed by singer Seong Si-kyung, has been discontinued due to a problem with missing labels on test prototypes.

On the 1st, Gyeong Korea, which launched 12-degree Gyeongtakju, was informed by the Gyeonggi Food and Drug Safety Ministry that the product name, net content, manufacturer, and item manufacturing number information were missing from the label of the prototype sent to several acquaintances for product development. “I received it,” he said.

Kyung Korea explained that the product in question was a sample prototype in the final testing stage before the launch of the main product, that detailed information could not be fully entered during the production process at the time, and that there was no problem with the product itself.

However, after receiving a reply from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety that all labeling was required even for sample products in the testing stage, the brewery was ordered to stop producing products for a month.
