At this year's Busan International Film Festival, the Hong Kong Film Development Board and the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries jointly led industry representatives and participated in the event to promote the global advancement of the Hong Kong film industry through master classes, seminars, and networking events.

The delegation included Dr. Wilfred Wong, Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Development Board, and Garimak, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Creative Industries, as well as Hong Kong master director An-Hwa He and this year's New Currents Award nominee Oliver Si-Kuen Chan's work 'Montage on Modern Motherhood'.

Those who appeared included actors Dam Seon-eon, Noh Jin-eop, and Media Asia co-CEO John Cheong.

Cheon Se-min, Director of Film Production at the Hong Kong Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries, will introduce the Eurasian Cultural Exchange Film Production Support Program and present realistic support measures for the production of films containing cultural elements between Hong Kong and Eurasia.

Through this, we hope that Hong Kong will establish itself as a hub for exchange between Asian and Western cultures, and that global film producers will explore the possibility of achieving greater success in mainland China and Asian markets by using Hong Kong as a base.
