MBC-SM Entertainment, strategic partnership to develop virtual industry in media and content fields

Attending the signing ceremony on this day were MBC CEO Ahn Hyeong-jun, SM Entertainment CEO Tak Young-jun, MBC entertainment division head Jeon Jin-soo, SM Entertainment chief creativity officer Park Jun-young, and MBC virtual content business TF head Noh Si-yong.
MBC, a content-focused global media group, and SM Entertainment, a K-POP pioneer, have joined forces to ‘develop the virtual industry in the media and content sectors.’
Hyeongjun Ahn, CEO of MBC, said, "Through cooperation between the two companies, we will pursue growth together in areas where both companies can demonstrate their capabilities, such as producing content using Naibis' IP and creating a healthy virtual ecosystem, and expand into the global market."

Tak Young-jun, CEO of SM Entertainment, said, "Just as Munhwa Broadcasting and SM have created market-leading values in the broadcasting/entertainment field together, we expect that content collaboration using this Naibis IP will also be able to present a new milestone in the virtual entertainment field."
