MiraeN, the company with the largest textbook circulation, announced that it had provided a total prize money of 100 million won to the KBS1 ‘Korean Language Competition’ competition.

As a publisher of national Korean language textbooks, MiraeN supported the production of KBS1's 'Korean Language Competition' summer vacation special broadcast in August last year.

MiraeN CEO Shin Kwang-soo said, “It is meaningful to be able to promote the beauty of the Korean language with KBS’s representative long-running program ‘Korean Language Competition.’” He added, “As a publisher of Korean language textbooks, MiraeN will continue to promote the value of the Korean language and engage in various activities to improve the quality of Korean language education.”

“We will continue,” he said.

Meanwhile, MiraeN, which started as Korea Textbook Co., Ltd. in 1948, is Korea's first textbook publisher and publishes government-authorized textbooks and certified/certified textbooks. As of 2023, it is a textbook publisher that accounts for 28% of the total number of nationally-authorized and certified textbooks issued in Korea.

It is the number one company in circulation.
