YouTuber A, who spread false information about Ive member Jang Won-young, was sentenced to two years in prison and three years of probation.

On the 15th, Judge Saetbyeol Kim of the Incheon District Court's Criminal Division 11 sentenced Mr. A, who was indicted on charges of defamation and insults under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, to two years in prison and three years of probation, and a fine of 200 million won.

He was ordered to pay a fine and perform 120 hours of community service.

The court determined that Mr. A's criminal actions caused serious mental pain to the victims and caused a major social impact.

However, the court sentenced Mr. A to probation, taking into account the fact that he acknowledged the crime and was reflecting on it, and that he paid settlement money to the victims.
