Southeast Asia train travel – Cambodia and Vietnam

Phnom Penh, Cambodia's largest city and a city with a lot of history and stories, is where the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake intersect.

Meet residents praying in front of the statue of Lok Ta Dumbung Kranung, the guardian deity of Battambang, and ride Battambang's famous bamboo train 'Nori', which despite its simple appearance, is made of bamboo and runs at high speed.

Take a bus to cross the border from Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and see the Saigon Central Post Office, a building designed by Gustave Eiffel, who built the Eiffel Tower.

We stop by Sachau, a village where fish sauce 'Nuoc Mam' is a specialty, and meet the artisans who have been making the best Nuoc Mam sauce for generations.
