Grand Prize Winner: Kim Jun-sang ‘The Place Where the Typhoon Passed’

Kim Jun-sang's 'The Place Where the Typhoon Passed' was selected as the grand prize winner, Choi Hye-yun's '60 Seconds' won the grand prize in the mini-series category, and Farewell Hae's 'Hellkeeper' was selected as the grand prize winner in the two-part/long-length screenplay category.

A total of 2,020 works were submitted for this contest, including the mini-series category and the two-part one-act play/feature-length scenario category. After three rounds of preliminary and main screening, a total of eight works were selected (1 grand prize, 2 best works, 2 honorable mentions, and honorable mentions). 3) works were finally selected.

The author who won the grand prize award will receive a plaque and creative support of KRW 100 million, the author who won the grand prize in the miniseries category will receive a plaque and creative support of KRW 50 million, the author who won the excellence award will receive a plaque and creative support of KRW 30 million, and the author who won the honorable mention award will receive a plaque and creative support of KRW 15 million. Each grant is awarded separately.

A plaque and 30 million won in creative support will be awarded to the writer who won the grand prize in the one-act play two-part/feature-length scenario category, a plaque and 20 million won in creative support to the writer who won the excellence prize, and a plaque and 10 million won in creative support to the writer who won the honorable mention.
