The Central Labor Relations Commission reaffirmed that the company's replacement of the host, appointment of personnel, and changes in programming did not constitute unfair labor practices.

The National Labor Relations Commission yesterday (July 8) dismissed the union's application for retrial, saying that the decision made by the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission in February in relation to the unfair labor practice relief application case filed by the KBS headquarters union was justified.

The Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission dismissed an application for relief filed by the KBS Headquarters Union, claiming that personnel appointments, replacement of anchors and program hosts, and changes in program programming after the inauguration of KBS President Park Min in November last year constituted unfair labor practices. .

Meanwhile, on the 5th, the Seoul High Court filed a provisional injunction filed by the KBS headquarters union against the management, claiming that the replacement of news and radio program hosts, replacement programming, and appointment of the director of the reporting and production department without the union's consent violated the collective agreement and the Broadcasting Act. On appeal, the company again ruled in favor of the application.
